Edit Your Mobile Ordering App With Orda
Orda created an easy-to-use dashboard so you can edit your iOS/Android mobile ordering app anytime.
This guide will cover how to edit your mobile ordering app settings, including:
- 1. App Details
- 2. Theme
- 3. Catalog
- 4. Locations
- 5. App Marketplace
- 6. Orda Billing and Subscription Type
We will also review how to Publish Updates. You will need to publish your update anytime you change your settings.
1. Edit App Details
Click General on the left.
Edit the information that will show in the iOS and Android app stores. You can change:
- Your App Icon (png)
- App Name
- App Short Description
- App Longer Description
- Your Logo (png)
Click Save to save changes. App store details may take time to update in AppleStore and Google Play.
2. Edit Theme
Click Theme on the left.
You can change these theme settings:
- Primary Color
- Secondary Color
- Menu Background Color: If you want to choose this color, unselect “use default image as background.” Then choose your color.
3. Edit Catalog
Click Catalog on the left.
You can enable and disable categories. Drag and drop the categories to reorder them.
Optionally select “Favorite Items” that you’d like to promote to your customers. We recommend selecting up to 3.
4. Edit Locations
Click Locations on the left.
Your locations are automatically synced from Square. Here is the guide on how to manage locations in Square.
Enable locations for your mobile ordering app by checking them on. To add additional locations, you will need to update your subscription.
Click the Edit icon next to each location.
For each location, you can edit:
- Location Image
- Name
- Address (This is synced automatically from Square. If you haven’t added an address in Square, follow this guide)
- Phone
- Delivery Types: Pickup, Delivery, and Curbside. Check them on to enable them.
Click Save.
6. Orda Billing and Subscription Type
You can edit your billing information and subscription type (e.g. Starter, Pro) by clicking Billing. Here is the guide for this.
Publish App Edits
Anytime you are done making edits, you will need to publish your update.
- Click Publish on the left, then click Add Version in the top right.
- Enter your name and comments. For example, comments can be “Changed primary color and menu background color.”
3. Click Save.
